Dealer FAQ
Everything you need to know about becoming an Authorized GutterDome Dealer. Below are the questions our Dealer recruitment team is asked most often by professional gutter installers, roofing contractors and home improvement companies evaluating the GutterDome program -- how territories are defined, how inventory ships, what lead and marketing support is included, and what it actually costs to get started. GutterDome Dealers install a multi-patented, American-designed product that competitors cannot legally copy, inside a semi-exclusive protected territory provided at no cost. If your question is not answered here, contact us directly and our team will walk you through territory availability and onboarding.
Exclusivity and Territory
Q: How is my territory defined?
A: Territories are defined by Designated Market Area (DMA) -- the same system used by national advertisers. This ensures clear boundaries and no overlap between Dealers.
Q: My current market is saturated with companies selling the same product. Does GutterDome offer any type of exclusivity?
A: Yes. Every Authorized Dealer receives a Semi-Exclusive Protected Territory in their Designated Market Area (DMA). This territory is valued at $50,000 to $100,000 fair market value -- and we provide it at no cost.
Product and Inventory
Q: What happens when I place an order -- how fast do you ship?
A: We guarantee to ship your product order within 2 business days. If we miss that window, shipping is FREE. This is an industry-first in-stock guarantee that means you never have to tell a customer their installation is delayed.
Q: What products are available?
A: We offer a full Good-Better-Best lineup: GutterDome (our flagship), GutterDome Adjustable for fascia mount installations, and GutterDome Magma (enhanced mesh with optional heat cable), in both 5-inch and 6-inch profiles. Every ultra-premium product is manufactured from an extruded military-grade 6063 aluminum frame, tempered to T5 strength with a corrosion-proof clear anodized finish, and a T304 stainless-steel micro-mesh surface assembled on top.
Leads and Marketing
Q: Does GutterDome charge for leads?
A: No. All corporate-generated consumer leads in your territory are emailed to you free of charge. We invest in national marketing -- you close the leads locally.
Q: What marketing support do you provide?
A: Dealers earn 5.0% Co-Op advertising dollars based on invoiced product purchases. You also get access to our Website Templating System and quarterly promotional materials for both peak and off-peak seasons.
Agreements and Pricing
Q: What does it cost to become a Dealer -- is there a franchise fee?
A: No. GutterDome is a manufacturer-direct Dealer program, not a franchise: there is no franchise agreement, no franchise fee and no franchise royalty, no percentage-of-revenue cut, and no upfront cost to become an Authorized GutterDome Dealer. You purchase product as needed at Dealer pricing, with multiple levels of tiered volume pricing -- including Truckload Pricing for large drop-ship orders -- and install it inside the protected territory we assign you.
Q: What is the ROI potential for a GutterDome Dealer?
A: Yes. This is a product category installed on less than ~25% of homes in the United States, and it has enormous growth potential over the next decade with a very high ROI.
Q: Do you offer tiered pricing as my volume grows?
A: Yes. We offer multiple levels of tiered volume pricing and even “Truckload Pricing” for multi-location Dealers.
Gutter Guards and Pest Control
Q: I run a pest control company. Can I add gutter guards as a service line?
A: Yes — that is one of the reasons the Dealer Program is set up the way it is. You install, GutterDome supplies the product and honors the warranty, and your territory is semi-protected by DMA with no franchise fee. Gutter guard installation is a fit-over job on an existing gutter run, so a crew that already works rooflines and ladders can quote it on a visit it is already making. What your state requires of a gutter installer is a question for your licensing board; we will tell you exactly what the install involves so you can check.
Q: Are gutter guards a mosquito control product?
A: No, and a Dealer should not sell them as one. A guard keeps leaves and debris out of the trough, so the run drains instead of holding water — and standing water is where mosquitoes breed. That makes a clear, draining gutter a breeding-site reduction. It is not mosquito control: a 2019 study in the Journal of the American Mosquito Control Association concluded that where standing water exists in a gutter, guards are not an effective mosquito control tool. The honest sale is drainage and debris, on a gutter that actually falls toward the outlet.
Q: How do I get started?
A: Visit our Dealer Program page, or call 877-987-4888 and ask for the National Dealer Recruitment Team. They will discuss territory availability in your area and walk you through the onboarding process.
