GutterDome Magma
GutterDome Magma (GD45M, GD67M & GD45AM) is our enhanced open-flow gutter guard for high water flow and cold-weather regions. It is built on the same ultra-premium extruded military-grade 6063 aluminum frame — tempered to T5 strength with a corrosion-proof clear anodize — with a #20 T304 plain weave surgical-grade stainless-steel wire mesh (400 holes per square inch, 842 microns) assembled on top as the wear surface; the wider weave is what sheds water fast. It is the recommended choice for snow country — especially above doorways or paired with an integrated heat trace cable for de-icing. The GD45M fits 4″–5″ gutters and the GD67M fits 6″–7″.

Do You Need 5-Inch or 6-Inch Gutters?
GD45M fits 4-inch to 5-inch gutters and GD67M fits 6-inch to 7-inch gutters. Magma is the high-flow choice where water arrives in volume: heavy rain belts, ice-and-snow climates, inside miters and steep runs. On those roofs the deciding factor is how much water reaches each run at once, and 6-inch troughs with more than one downspout are the common answer. Both sizes carry the same #20 mesh, so the flow rate does not change with the trough. Your Authorized Dealer confirms the size on site.
Which GutterDome is Right for You?
Every aluminum GutterDome profile is built on an ultra-premium extruded military-grade 6063 aluminum frame, tempered to T5 strength with a clear anodized finish, and a stainless-steel wire mesh surface assembled on top; the uPVC profile carries a 100% corrosion-proof uPVC frame with the same T304 stainless-steel wire mesh. The profiles differ in mesh density, gutter size, and roof compatibility:
- GutterDome (GD45 & GD67) — 40-mesh stainless-steel wire mesh, 1,600 holes per square inch (400 microns). The all-round choice for shingle, metal, tile, and cedar shake roofs. Fits 4″–5″ (GD45) and 6″–7″ (GD67) gutters.
- GutterDome Adjustable (GD45A) — the same 40-mesh stainless-steel wire mesh, for steep pitches above a 6/12 pitch where the guard cannot be tucked under the roofing material.
- GutterDome Magma (GD45M, GD67M & GD45AM) — plain-weave 20-mesh stainless steel (400 holes per square inch, 842 microns) for high water flow, inside miters, and snow country, with an optional heat-trace cable.
- GutterDome uPVC (GD45P) — a multi-patented white uPVC dome with a T304 30-mesh stainless-steel screen (900 holes per square inch, 595 microns) for coastal, salt-air, and acid-rain climates.
